It came to our attention that due to an unforeseen technical issue on the CDS API service, ERA5.1 data from the "oper" stream only could be retrieved, regardless of the value of the stream key in the API script. In other words, by default, the stream key was set to "oper" and any other stream key values were ignored. This means that if, for example, you requested ERA5.1 Ensemble data, the data retrieved is not ensemble data but data from the oper stream.
We believe to have now fixed the problem but are doing substantial tests to check that ERA5.1 data from all available streams can indeed be retrieved as expected.
We will update this announcement when ERA5.1 data requests using the CDS API service may resume.
