OpenIFS

OpenIFS is an ECMWF project that provides an easy-to-use academic version of the IFS forecast model. Use of OpenIFS for research and education is increasing across Europe.

This user meeting brings together OpenIFS/IFS users and interested parties from Universities, National Met Services and other organisations.

Programme

The theme for the workshop this year will be 'Uncertainty in NWP'.

Keynote presentation: Prof Tim Palmer, University of Oxford/ECMWF.

A more detailed programme will be available closer to the meeting date. This meeting, unlike previous workshops, is an opportunity to visit and learn more about ECMWF as well as present your work to ECMWF scientists.
