Metview Development Snapshot Releases

The following tarballs are development snapshots of Metview code which should not be used for operational work. They are provided for test users to give us feedback to our developments before operational releases.

From version 4.5, Metview uses CMake for compilation and installation. More Information can be found in the Installation Guide for Metview 4.5 and above.

Please send us your feedback and comments to help us to improve the installation.

Metview Virtual Machines

To make enable you to easily try Metview and to go through the learning material, there exists a virtual machine with Metview pre-installed (root password = "metv1ew!"). This machine is given 'as is', and is purely intended for training purposes. However, we appreciate any feedback. This virtual machine is available from here: http://susestudio.com/a/4HLO57/metview-desktop.
