We have downloaded and are using SSRD from ERA5 Land (hourly, then converted into a daily mean value) however the conversion (we are also doing the proper conversion between units *3600) is too high for the region in question. Is there a certain time interval which accumulates the daily value which we need to consider and possibly divide by 24 to reach the daily mean? Or is taking all hours per day and then taking the daily mean correct (what we have been doing)?
