- New Zealand announced their TAC SYNOP terminates on December 15 2014 in METNO C November 11 ftp://ftp.wmo.int/wmo-ddbs/OperationalInfo/VolumeC1/From_WMO/METNO/2014/MC4614.txt ; actual messages seem to stop on December 18. They were restarted about two days later after requests and we understand that they will stop in May 2015.

- Portugal announced that its TAC SYNOP reports will cease on 22 April 2015 - now postponed to 24 June, SYNOPs still on GTS Nov 2015. (Indirect notification received at ECMWF 2 March 2015, update 13 March.)
- Spain announced that its TAC SYNOP reports (including Canary Islands) will cease on 29 June 2015. (Notification received at ECMWF April 2015, see http://www.wmo.int/pages/prog/www/ois/Operational_Information/Newsletters/current_news_en.html ) Some SYNOPs from Canary Islands still available Nov 2015.
