Change of the model version to GEPS2003 will apply to the real-time forecasts from the 24th March 2020. The new set of the fixed reforecasts (1981-2010) will be archived later, in the first half of 2020. The reforecast frequency will be reduced from 3 to 2 per month with increased number of perturbed members from 5 to 13. More information can be found in the JMA model description page. |

The 9 new ocean parameters from ECCC coupled model have been added to S2S archive for both real-time and on-the-fly reforecast runs since 6 Feb 2020 onwards. The new data is discoverable via the dedicated S2S web data portal under a new level type o2d (please be aware of the usual 3 weeks data availability delay because of the S2S archive policy). |
